It will be Decision Day tomorrow (Friday) when the hosts for the 2017 World Championship tournaments will be revealed at the IIHF Congress in Moscow.

Ice Hockey UK chairman Richard Grieveson, general secretary Andy French and events manager Geoff Hemmerman are in Russia as part of the bid process.

Members of the new IIHF Council are being appointed today, before the World Championship bids are considered and voted on tomorrow.

IHUK are bidding to host the Men’s World Championship (Division 1B) at The SSE Arena in Belfast.

There are also bids in to host the Under-20 World Championship (Division 1B) and Under-18 World Championship (Division 2A) in Dumfries.
