Great Britain made it two victories from three matches as they beat hosts Netherlands 4-0 at the U18 Women’s World Championship Division II Group A in Heerenveen.

Evelyn Brown secured her second shutout of the tournament and the win for GB moved them onto six points in third place in the group.

GB took the lead when Jess Jones waltzed into the offensive zone but saw her shot saved, before Ellie Patrick pounced to bury the rebound (11:58).

Vivian McGee fed Lilly Endicott who superbly batted the puck out the air to score GB’s second (14:13) and at the other end, Brown made an outstanding save to deny Emily Olsthoorn on the breakaway.

Abi Minter and Emma Lamberton combined on the powerplay to set-up Ruby Newlands at the backdoor to score her fourth goal of the tournament (29:04).

Cassie McGregor reacted first to a loose puck on the doorstep for GB’s fourth and final goal of the night (48:03)
