Great Britain lost a thrilling encounter with Poland 3-2 after penalty shots in their final game at the Under-18 Women’s Four Nations in Poznan.

Meeyah Forbes gave GB the lead at 9:13 before Weronika Świątek equalised for the hosts (15:59).

After a scoreless second period, Britain went ahead for the second time with Inez Brannon on target at 45:49.

But Poland back quickly with Milena Piasecka grabbed the equaliser less than two minutes later (48:07).

With no further scoring, the game went to penalty shots, with Poland converting two of their four shots and GB unable to convert any of their first four.

Spain win the tournament for the second successive season with three wins from three matches.
