Great Britain Head Coach Angela Taylor has named her squad for next month’s IIHF World Championship in Dumfries.

GB, Australia, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands and Turkey will compete in the six-team Under-18 Women’s Division II Group A tournament.

The six-team competition is being held at the Dumfries Ice Bowl and will take place from 21st to 27th January 2023.

It’s the second time in four years that GB will play on home ice at the Ice Bowl following the bronze medal success in 2019.

Taylor said: “The recent Four Nations tournament in Poland was great preparation for the Worlds.

“What’s even better is that this roster has just one change, so there is real continuity in the squad.

“We have a talented and mature group of girls on this team and the coaching staff look forward to working with them again.

“We feel confident in everyone and their ability to contribute.”
