Coventry Blaze condemned Nottingham Panthers to their second successive defeat, as Danny Stewart’s side skated to a 3-1 victory in the day’s second game.

The Blaze raced into a three-goal first-period lead thanks to goals from Tristan Keck, Nicolai Bryhnisveen and Great Britain forward Sam Duggan (powerplay).

After no goals in period two, Kevin Domingue scored what turned out to be a consolation for the Panthers.
