Great Britain head coach Pete Russell says his side are so focused on winning gold and promotion to Division 1A of the World Championship.

Four successive wins this week in Zagreb means GB need only a point against Ukraine in Division 1B this afternoon to win their first gold medal for 23 years.

“Every single one of these guys is so focused,” said Russell.

“Ever since we met in Coventry over two weeks ago, their minds have been on only one thing.

“They have not let their intensity drop and you can see how deep their passion runs.

“We all want the same thing and I know they will give everything to achieve it.

“They all know they can make some history and it would be amazing if we can go one better than last year.”
