It was a memorable weekend in Cardiff as Great Britain progressed through to the Final Qualifying for the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The Final Qualifying round will take place from Thursday 29th August to Sunday 1st September, with GB going to either Denmark, Latvia or Slovakia.

Confirmation of the groups is expected from the IIHF within the next 24 to 48 hours.

GB secured their spot in Final Qualifying with a 7-4 victory over Romania last night at the Vindico Arena.
