Great Britain Women and Mexico Women play their third games at the World Championship Division II Group A this evening.

Both sides have won one of their first two matches as Mexico surprised second seeds DPR Korea Women with a 4-2 victory on opening day, while GB beat Australia Women 2-1 at the Dumfries Ice Bowl.

Yesterday saw defeats for both sides as Mexico were beaten 2-0 by Spain Women and GB lost 4-2 to Slovenia Women.

The two teams met in last year’s World Championship with GB skating to a 5-0 win in Maribor.

Kim Lane, CJ Ashton, Saffron Allen, Katie Henry and Louise Adams were on target, while Sam Bolwell had a five-shot shutout.

In today’s other games, DPR Korea play Spain Women at 1:30pm and Australia Women face Slovenia Women at 4:30pm.
