Great Britain fly-out to South Korea tomorrow ahead of the 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games.

It’s a massive moment for the sport with GB men’s under-16 roster taking part in three-on-three ice hockey for the first time, which was first played at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Switzerland in 2020.

Britain will go head-to-head with Austria, China, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland and Spain in the round-robin stages, with the top four teams progressing to the semi-finals.

GB are coached by Danny Meyers who won 59 caps as a player between 2004 and 2014.

Meyers chats to Ice Hockey UK TV – in association with SMP Europe – about how he has high hopes for the team and their mindset should be that they can go and win a medal in the tournament.
