It’s game two for Great Britain Women at the World Championship Division II Group A in Dumfries as they face Slovenia Women at 8pm – a game that will be shown live on FreeSports.
Goals from Beth Scoon and Aimee Headland gave GB a 2-1 win over Australia Women on Tuesday, while Slovenia were beaten 4-3 after penalties by Spain Women.
It’s the fourth meeting in successive years between the two sides, with GB winning last season’s encounter in Slovenia.
Goals from Beth Hill, Katie Henry, Angela Taylor, Sophie Herbert gave Cheryl Smith’s side a 4-1 victory.
Britain have won the past four meetings in 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2008, while Slovenia recorded victory in 2005 in South Africa.
GB expect to be at full strength with no reported injuries worries from the medical staff.
