Ice Hockey UK officials have headed to the IIHF annual Congress today in Russia, ahead of the announcement of where the 2017 World Championship tournaments will be held.
Congress is being held during the top-level World Championship in Moscow.
IHUK, along with Belfast Giants and The SSE Arena, are bidding to host the Men’s World Championship (Division 1B).
There is also a bid being put in to host the Men’s Under-20 (Division 1B) and Under-18 (Division 2A) at Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries.
An announcement on venues for all levels of next season’s World Championship is expected on Friday morning.
