GB WOMEN’S U20 CUP GAME WITH KINGSTON IS CANCELLED

Great Britain Women’s Under-20s Cup game with Kingston tomorrow has been cancelled because of the ongoing situation regarding the coronavirus.

GB were due to meet for a one-day camp and also play Kingston in their final match in this season’s EIHA U20s Cup.

Head coach, Cheryl Smith, said: “It is with regret we have taken the decision to cancel our cup game on Sunday because of concerns over the coronavirus.

“The difficulty we have is our players and staff are coming together from all over the UK. We are not regionalised and therefore this presents uncertainty.

“We have to take so many things into account, but most importantly the health of our players and staff.”
