Great Britain Under-20s Head Coach Martin Grubb has confirmed the players who will go forward to trial for this season’s World Championship squad.

A total of 44 players attended the identification camps in Sheffield and Dundee – and the first selection camp will take place later this month.

There will be further camps in September and October before the final roster is announced for the upcoming  U20 World Championship.

GB will name a 22-player squad for the Division II Group A tournament in Brasov between 13th and 19th December 2021.

The Great Britain youngsters will come up against hosts Romania, along with Italy, Lithuania, Spain and Korea.

Grubb said: “We have seen some fantastic players over the two camps and selecting those who would go forward was not easy at all.

“There is so much talent in the GB junior system at the moment and that has been shown by what the coaches have seen in the past couple of months.

“The players we have announced so far are in the under-20 age-group (birth years 2002 and 2003), but we will also be inviting a few under-18 players to the selection camps.

“And as always, the door is not shut on anyone and players can be added as the season progresses.”
