Great Britain play unbeaten Poland today in their fourth U18 World Championship Division 2A game in Brasov.  Face off is 1700 local time, 1500 UK time.

Heading into the tournament’s final two games, there are still four teams in the hunt for medals with any number of possible outcomes still on the table.  GB’s win over Netherlands leaves them on six points alongside Romania and Lithuania, while Poland sit atop the pile with a perfect nine points from nine.

IHUK Radio caught up with assistant coach Simon Leach at morning skate to guage the mood in the camp. Click below to listen.

Leach and the coaching staff will have to work on a way of curtailing the free-scoring Polish offence, with 27 goals in three games so far.  By contrast GB have allowed the second fewest goals, only 8, in their three games.

The game is available to view via the IIHF tournament website from 1500 UK time as well as updates on the @TeamGBicehockey twitter feed.
