Great Britain will face hosts Finland, along with USA, Czech Republic, Sweden, Latvia, Norway and Belarus at next year’s World Championship.
The tournament takes place between 13th and 29th May 2022 and GB will be based in the Group B venue of the 13,500-seater Tampere Deck Arena in Tampere.
Helsinki will host Group A which includes defending champions Canada, as well as Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Denmark, Kazakhstan and Italy.
The groups are based on the world rankings and take into consideration the organisational wishes by the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Organising Committee.
Day tickets for the group in Helsinki will go on sale on 2nd September.
For GB’s group in Tampere, the right to buy day tickets will be allocated in a draw starting the same day.
Single-game tickets for games not sold out by then will go on sale in February 2022.
