Great Britain Head Coach Martin Grubb has named his captaincy team for the IIHF U20 World Championship Division II Group A in Kaunas.

Rhodes Mitchell-King has been named as captain and he will have two sets of alternate captains for the tournament, with Oliver Endicott and Aren Francis alternating with Archie Hazeldine and Calum McGill.

Grubb said: “Rhodes has the respect of the dressing room and will be a fantastic leader.

“To be fair, there were a number of candidates and that’s one of the reasons we decided to have four alternate captains .

“Oliver, Aren, Archie and Calum will all have a major part to play on the captaincy team throughout the tournament.”

GB get their campaign under way tomorrow against hosts Lithuania at 16:00 (14:00 UK time).
