GB CAPTAINS NAMED FOR WOMEN’S FOUR NATIONS

Great Britain have confirmed their captaincy team for this weekend’s women’s Four Nations in Denmark.

Jodie Alderson-Smith has been named as captain with Beth Hill, Rachel Cartwright and Katherine Gale as Alternate Captains.

GB face Italy tonight in the four-team tournament before playing Poland tomorrow and Denmark on Saturday.

Alderson-Smith said: “I am so proud to play for GB and to captain my country is really special.

“We have a great leadership group with a lot of experience and we work well together.

“It’s great to get team together for this tournament as it will be good preparation for the World Championship.”
