Great Britain’s attention now turns to back-to-back matches with Denmark following last night’s match with Italy in Milton Keynes.
Ross Venus scored for GB but Italy won 3-1 thanks to goals from Marco Magnabosco, Alex Trivellato and Dante Honnaun.
GB’s players were straight back to work this morning in the gym and they will have an on-ice practice at the Skydome this afternoon.
Denmark have been training at their base at the National Ice Centre and have brought a squad of 26 to Nottingham, including Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers.
GB and Denmark meet at a nearly sold-out Skydome tomorrow night (7pm), so you are advised to book immediately to secure your seat.
The two sides then go head-to-head at the National Ice Centre on Sunday (4pm).
GB will then complete their UK preparations by facing Italy in Coventry on Tuesday (7:30pm).
