Great Britain are excited to announce a restructure of their netminder programme with six new appointments.

The restructure has been led by GB’s Head of Goaltending Development Programme, Euan King

King, who is also GB Men’s Goaltending Coach, said: “These appointments will make our goaltending programme stronger and put us in great shape for the future.

“I am excited to work with everyone in the future as we look to develop some of the exceptional talent we have in the GB set-up.”

Women’s Goaltending Development Lead – Dave Clancy 
Euan King said: “Dave is passionate about goaltending and the women’s game. I am excited to see this side of the programme grow and I look forward to working with him.”

GB U20 Men – Jeff Battah
Euan King said: “I know Jeff from my time coaching in Hungary. He is an excellent goalie coach with a wealth of knowledge at all levels of the game. I would also like to thank the Glasgow Clan for allowing Jeff to join the GB Under-20s programme.

GB U18 Men – John Russell
Euan King said: “John stepped across last season for the under-18s Worlds and did an excellent job. I am happy he has committed to continue in this role for this coming season.”

GB U18 Women – Davey Lawrence 
Euan King said: “Davey is a former EIHL goaltender with great experience and knows how World Championship tournaments work. He is also currently heading up the EIHA goalie programme, so having that connection is invaluable for us.”

GB U16 Men – Dean Worsfold 
Euan King said: “Dean is a very good goalie coach. I have worked with him personally for the past three years and he is driven to improve and develop British goalies.”

GB U16 Women – Kelly Bradford
Euan King said: “Kelly is a former GB international herself and has great experience at these types of tournament. Her knowledge and experience is a massive asset to the programme.”
