Great Britain play their fourth game in Group A of the World Championship as they meet Belarus at the Olympic Sports Centre (6:15pm UK time).

GB go into the game on the back of last night’s thrilling match with Denmark, where Mike Hammond scored with under four minutes remaining to take the game to overtime before the Danes won it in the extra period.

It means Britain have one point from their first three matches after earlier defeats by Russia and Slovakia.

Belarus began their campaign with a 5-2 defeat by Slovakia which was followed by a famous 1-0 victory over Sweden. Their most recent match also went to overtime as they were beaten 3-2 by the Czech Republic on Monday.

Head-to-head
The two sides have met three times previously with GB winning once and Belarus recording two victories.

The most recent meeting was a 5-4 defeat for GB in Division I Group A World Championship in Oslo, Norway.

GB’s goals came from David Clarke, Jeff Hoad, Paul Moran and Jonathan Phillips.
