A group of Glasgow Clan supporters have launched a GoFundMe page to help fund the safe return from Mexico of dedicated fan Jamie Wilson.
Jamie was taken unwell on a family holiday and underwent an operation. Unfortunately, there were complications and Jamie is now in a coma.
Susan Gibson said: “We desperately need to get Jamie home for quality medical care in the UK and hopefully back to his beloved Clan.
“Jamie is know for his love of hockey and attends every Glasgow Clan match and his favourite place for dinner, Bar Varia. His extended family here want him home.
“A massive thank you to all that have donated so far. We raised just over £2,500 in less than a day, so please keep sharing on social media.
“Jamie’s family would like to thank you all for the love you have all shown Jamie. They are completely overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity.”
