FreeSports will broadcast every Great Britain game at this year’s World Championship in Finland.

The 16-team tournament takes place in Tampere and Helsinki from 13th to 29th May.

GB are based at the Nokia Arena in Tampere and will face Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden and the USA.

FreeSports will cover all seven of GB’s games in Group B and the best of the rest of the action from the group stages in Tampere.

There’ll also be live coverage of two quarter-finals, both semi-finals, followed by the bronze and gold-medal games.

Commentary will come from six-time Olympic broadcaster Aaron Murphy and former GB forward Paul Adey who won 55 caps between 1995 and 2001, scoring 28 goals and contributing 24 assists for 52 points.

Murphy said: “It’s always an honour to be a part of a GB tournament, no matter the location or competition.

“We have been on an incredible journey with this squad and it’s always a highlight of the hockey season to bring the action into the homes of supporters who cannot travel.

“It’s been in many ways a career highlight for me to see Farmer score and gain gold and promotion in 2018, or Ben Davies get that historic OT winner against France in 2019.

“Certainly seeing Liam Kirk dominate in Riga was spine-tingling and I get excited thinking who will possibly be the hero in Tampere. We cannot wait to get going on FreeSports.”

FreeSports is available free on Sky Channel 422, Virgin Media Channel 553, on Channel 64 on Freeview and BT and via the FreeSports Player.
