FORMER GB PLAYER TO BE PART OF FUNDRAISING WALK

Remember those four Sheffield Steelers officials that walked from Sheffield to Belfast to raise funds for two great causes in February 2018?

Well, almost exactly 12 months later, they’ll be at it again. This time for Vicki Thomas and Prevent Breast Cancer. Vicki is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

David Simms, Great Britain photographer Dean Woolley, Neil Edwards and Elliott Hall will be joined by Manchester Storm owner Jamie Tunstall and Vicki’s husband Mark Thomas who, of course, is a former GB player.

Simms said: “We will walk from Sheffield Arena to the rink in Manchester, our shortest and some say easiest walk.

“But no, we are doing the 50 miles in one go, without sleep and walking through the night.”
