Great Britain forward Jonathan Boxill says spirit is good in the camp following the first two days of training camp.

GB met in Coventry on Tuesday night and have had four practices in two days as part of their preparations for this weekend’s games against Poland.

The two sides meet at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham on Saturday (7:30pm) and in Coventry’s Skydome on Sunday (5:15pm).

Poland will then host the World Championship (Division 1A) later this month, while GB travel to Zagreb for the Division 1B tournament.

Belfast Giants forward Boxill said: “We have had a good couple of days and training has been intense.

“We need to get prepared for two tough games against Poland.

“They will be two great games. Last year’s two matches were so good to play in.

“The intensity was high and the noise created by the supporters was brilliant.”
