We – at SMP Europe as main team sponsor for Great Britain – would like to congratulate the men’s team for their success in representing their country at the World Championship in Riga.
We have watched the games with pride as the team have shown incredible determination to showcase their talents on the world stage and are thrilled to be associated with both the team and the support staff.
The efforts of the entire group of players, coaches, off-ice team and media has been remarkable.
Along with the collective achievements, this year has seen several personal landmarks, notably for Jonathan Phillips, Matthew Myers, Jason ‘Taff’ Ellery and Andy Buxton, as well as all those players achieving their first caps for the national team.
To show our appreciation we have arranged for the blue GB jerseys worn throughout the tournament to be presented to the players following the tournament.
