It’s the final day of the Division II Group A tournament in Jaca, Spain, and for Great Britain Women they are within touching distance of a gold medal and promotion.

Three successive regulation time wins have them on nine points and they need only a single point from today’s game against top seeds Latvia to secure top spot.

Latvia were relegated from Division I Group B in the 2019 tournament round, the last time the competition took place before this season.

The camp remains in great spirits and coach Mike Clancy will have his full roster available for the tournament finale despite the usual bumps and bruises from playing four games in six days.

Face off is at 4pm local time, 3pm in the UK with a free webcast from the host federation – click here for the stream.

There will be updates on @GBWomenshockey on Twitter, plus full report and reaction on the website and Ice Hockey UK TV in association with SMP Europe later tonight.

The squad are extremely grateful for all of the support shown to them by the fans here in Jaca but also the hundreds of messages on social media wishing the team good luck for their tournament finale.
