Day two of the three-day Great Britain junior camp saw three teams take to the ice in Sheffield, as GB forward Liam Kirk was the star guest.
GB U20s Men, U18s Men and U16s Men all had two on-ice training sessions as preparations got under way for the upcoming international season.
There were also off-ice activities and presentations, including a talk by Great Britain forward Liam Kirk.
Kirk was a guest at the camp at Ice Sheffield on the day it was announced he had signed a three-year NHL entry-level contract with Arizona Coyotes.
The 21-year-old recently returned from the World Championship in Latvia as the joint-leading goalscorer of the tournament with seven goals in seven matches.
Great Britain Head Coach Pete Russell and General Manager Andy Buxton were also present, as was Ice Hockey UK Chair Clifton Wrottesley.
Under-20s Head Coach, Martin Grubb, said: “It was great to get everyone back to a camp and see the players on the ice after so long.
“The players brought plenty of energy and as coaches, we knew it was also important to show some patience as they were all at different stages on their return, but it has been a positive day.
“It was also great for our players to be able to listen to Liam Kirk talk about his experiences in the junior programme, especially on such a momentous day for him, his family and GB hockey.”
Under-18s Head Coach, Sean Easton, said: “Day one was fantastic. The work ethic was high and talent was abundant.
“We had 44 skaters on the ice and the team selection will be tough. The eventual team will be deep, having a lot of highly skilled players.”
Under-16s Head Coach, Jamie Elson, said: “It’s been great to finally get back to the ice and to start the process with this group.
“The first day has been a really positive first step and we’ve been impressed with the attitude and work-rate of the players.
“We are looking forward now to seeing the group in game action in day two tomorrow and then starting to build momentum as we look forward to the next camp in July.
“Having this two-day camp with all the teams and staff together in one building has been a great platform to kick-start from again.”
The camp, which forms part of the preparations for the various 2022 World Championship tournaments, continues tomorrow with all three teams returning to the ice.
Great Britain Under-20s will go to Romania and GB U18s are off to Estonia next season, while an international tournament is planned for GB Under-16s.
