Great Britain Women have arrived in Gangneung ahead of the World Championship Division 2 Group A which gets under way on Sunday.

After leaving Heathrow on Wednesday lunchtime, with the 10-hour flight and eight-hour time difference, GB landed in Seoul at 7:30am this morning (Thursday).

A four-hour bus ride from Seoul to Gangneung was next on the agenda and after a walk and stretch around the resort, followed by dinner, GB had an early night ahead of tomorrow’s first practice session.

Ice Hockey UK TV, in association with McDonald’s, goes behind the scenes on day one arrival day and speaks with forward Saffron Allen, who a little over four years ago feared she might never play the sport again after picking up a serious injury in the Olympic Qualifiers in China.
