The schedule has been confirmed for the IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship Division II in Istanbul which gets under way next week.
The nine teams are split into three groups of three, with the tournament running from 27th June to 5th July on two ice sheets at the Zeytinburnu Ice Rink.
GB are in Group A alongside Turkey and Mexico, Group B consists of Netherlands, Kazakhstan and Latvia, while Group C is made up of Austria, Spain and Iceland.
Angela Taylor’s side start their campaign against Mexico on Monday 27th June, followed by a game against hosts Turkey on Wednesday 29th June.
GB will then play twice in the second-round group games, with their opponents dependant on where they finish in Group A. These matches will take place between Friday 1st and Sunday 3rd July.
The tournament placement games will be held on Tuesday 5th July, including the bronze and gold-medal matches.
