The UK Charity Allstars are celebrating their 12th year and their latest event takes place in Cardiff at the Viola Arena this weekend, 27th and 28th July.

A total of 136 players will take part in eight teams and they are supporting the following charities…

Breast Cancer Care
British Heart Foundation
Mind
Dreams Come True
Prostate Cancer UK
Help For Heroes
Blue Cross

At the time of writing this, the current total for 2019 is a staggering £97,617. Since the event began in 2008, over £650,000 has been raised for numerous charities.

The Friday night will see the players come together for the launch of the weekend at the arena to meet old friends and new.

From 11am on the Saturday there’ll be 16 round-robin games up until 6pm.

Then on the Sunday, again from 11am, it will be the final round-robin matches, culminating in the medal finals for a total of 32 games.

There’ll be charity stalls, a raffle and a Cross Check Clothing stand, as well as the DKMS stand to raise awareness and get more people signed up.
