Ice Hockey UK, the EIHA and FreeSports are pleased to announce that the U20 National Final at Ice Sheffield this Saturday will be broadcast live on FreeSports.

Defending champions Fife Falcons meet Coventry Blaze in a rematch of last year’s final and hockey fans across the UK can tune in to see the action for themselves.

Hot on the heels of bringing GB’s gold medal success from Hungary, FreeSports is continuing its commitment to the next generation of hockey players by showcasing their games to the widest possible audience.

Richard Webb, operations director at FreeSports, said: “Our ice hockey coverage continues to grow and we are delighted to bring the U20 championship live from Sheffield.

“We will continue to showcase the best of the junior ice hockey from this season’s tournaments as we have done these past two years and we hope hockey fans still smiling from last week’s events in Budapest can enjoy even more of the best British ice hockey has to offer.”

Saturday’s U20 final is part of the EIHA’s Junior Finals weekend which features U11 to U18 sides from across the country playing for the respective national championship in each age group.

The U20 Final is at 2:30pm. FreeSports is available on Sky channel 422, Freeview channel 95 and online via the TV Player app.
