TWO DEFEATS FOR CARDIFF ON THE ROAD IN THE CHL

After three points from their opening two home games in the Champions Hockey League, Cardiff Devils hit the road for two successive away matches.

But the Devils suffered two defeats, starting with Thursday’s night 7-2 loss in Germany against Mannheim. Cole Sanford and Brendan Mikkelson were on target for Cardiff.

The Devils then moved on to Switzerland for Saturday’s game with Lausanne, who they beat 4-1 in Wales last week.
