Great Britain Under-18s have made two changes to their roster for the upcoming World Championship in Brasov.

Solway Sharks defenceman Stuart Kerr replaces Bradley Jenion, while Kirkcaldy Kestrels forward Chad Smith comes in for Owen Bradshaw.

Head coach, Martin Grubb, said: “It is always tough to lose players from the original team, but we did have such a depth this this year.

“We are comfortable with bringing in both Stuart and Chad and they were very unlucky not to have made the original line-up.

“We always said that reserves would need to be ready.

“Both players took the feedback on-board after the December camp and we were very impressed with them in our recent camp and game against Coventry.

“They both fit into the group very well and that is important. They are both delighted to be included and we are happy to have them.

“I feel for Brad and Owen – and especially Owen with the bad luck he has had with injuries, but his long-term health and career had to come first.

“I thank both players for their commitment to the program and look forward to the World Championship.”

The GB youngsters travel to Brasov for their Division 2A World Championship tournament from 4th to 10th April 2016.

They will come up against Romania and also go head-to-head with Croatia, Lithuania, Netherlands and Poland.
