Great Britain Under-18 Women have made two changes for this week’s international tournament in Poland.

Leonie Charles and Bryony Russell replace the injured pair of Jessica Sprules and Hannah Ware.

It’s the fourth year of the tournament involving the under-18 women’s sides from GB, Hungary, Poland and Spain.

This year’s competition takes place in the Polish city of Sosnowiec and will run from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th November.

The four teams will be play each other once in a round-robin format.

GB U18 Women fly to Poland on Wednesday night and will face Hungary U18 Women on Friday, Poland U18 Women on Saturday and round off the tournament against Spain U18 Women on Sunday.

Head coach, Cheryl Smith, said: “It is never nice to lose players and I know they are both disappointed to miss out.

“But we have some great depth in the junior set-up at the moment and the coaching staff are excited to see Leonie and Bryony in action.”
