Great Britain play their third game of the Women’s World Championship Division 2A in Jaca this afternoon, facing off against Mexico (4pm local/3pm UK).

The Lionesses currently sit at the top of the tournament table with six points from their two games and now face games in back to back days with top seeds Latvia the opponent on Friday.

Today’s opponents were in the group last time it took place in Dumfries in 2019, GB won 3-2 in overtime with goals from Katie Marsden, Saffron Allen and the OT winner from Verity Lewis.

Mexico have so far lost both games this week to Chinese Taipei and Latvia.

GB had a full hour long practice on Wednesday while managing some bumps and bruises but they will be at full strength for the game, team line up will come out just an hour before face off.
