The latest Great Britain junior camps took place this week with GB U20s and GB U18s having on and off-ice sessions in Sheffield.

Great Britain Under-18s, led by head coach Jeff Hutchins, had a morning gym test on Tuesday followed by two on-ice sessions.

Hutchins said: “I think it was a productive camp. We had the opportunity to fitness test the guys to get an idea of where their fitness levels are.

“The guys worked hard and it gave us another opportunity to see some new guys.

“I think the Christmas camp is going to really determine who is serious about making the team.

“I look forward to following the guys progress as they start their respective seasons.”

Meanwhile, GB U20s held their camp on Wednesday and they also had a gym session in the morning and two practices at Ice Sheffield later in the day.

Head coach, Slava Koulikov, said: “It was very useful to see the guys on and off the ice.

“We had some great training sessions and players are really competing for places.”
