Great Britain will return home with a silver medal from the World Championship (Division 1B) in Zagreb.
GB’s chance of gold and promotion to Division 1A was ended when they were beaten 2-1 by Ukraine, who are promoted at the first time of asking.
Croatia’s penalty-shot win over Lithuania meant GB finish second in the six-team group, while Lithuania secure the bronze medal.
The hosts finished fourth and Estonia fifth, while Romania were relegated back to Division 2A.
GB were presented with a trophy for second place and their silver medals by Freddie Meredith.
