News from the SIHA

Scottish Ice Hockey has noted the recent developments in the rest of the UK regarding a potential return to play.

With regards to SIH, we remain committed to following our Return to Play with a view to getting our senior and junior leagues started in a timely manner.

The latest update from the Scottish government pushed this back by three weeks, but we are hopeful that things will fall into place in due course.

SIH chairman, David Hand, has issued an invitation to hockey players in the UK currently without a team to contact their nearest SIH club.

Hand said: “We feel that this would be mutually beneficial, giving players the chance to keep fit while their own leagues are out of action and helping to strengthen our clubs in the short term.”
