The schedule for the 2022 World Championship in Finland – which is being held between 13th and 29th May 2022 – has been unveiled.

GB will be playing in the top flight for the third successive season after appearing in the 2019 edition in Slovakia and this year in Latvia.

Pete Russell’s side are in Group B at the 13,500-seater Tampere Deck Arena with Belarus, Czech Republic, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden and the USA.

Group A is being held in the Helsinki Arena and is made up of Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Slovakia and Switzerland.

Britain begin their campaign against Czech Republic on 14th May before facing Norway on 15th May.

Sweden are the opponents on 17th May while GB face the USA on 19th May and play Finland on 20th May.

GB take-on Latvia on 22nd May and complete the group stage against Belarus on 23rd May.

The top four teams progress to the knockout stages, which start with the quarter-finals on 26th May.

The semi-finals will be held on 28th May with the bronze medal and gold-medal games completing the tournament on 29th May.
