Romania will join Great Britain, Hungary and Estonia in the Olympic Qualifiers in Nottingham in February.

The IIHF Olympic Pre-Qualification Round 3 Group takes place from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th February 2020 at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham.

Romania secured top spot in their pre-qualification group tonight by beating Iceland 10-1 on home ice after wins earlier this week over Israel (15-0) and Kyrgystan (18-2).

The tournament gets under way on Thursday 6th February with Hungary facing Estonia, before GB take-on the Romania in the evening.

After Friday’s rest day, Hungary will face Romania on Saturday afternoon, with Estonia against Great Britain in the evening.

The final day of the tournament is Sunday and Estonia round-off their matches by facing Romania, while Great Britain play Hungary.

The winner of the four-team group will advance to the final qualifying for the Winter Olympics.

A variety of tickets will be available, including single game tickets, day tickets, as well as discounted tickets to follow Great Britain’s three matches and to watch all six games of the tournament.
