Great Britain Under-18s have made a roster change ahead of the upcoming World Championship in Brasov next month.

Bracknell Bees defenceman Tom Relf has been called up to replace the injured Cameron Pound.

GB U18s head coach, Martin Grubb, said: “We are very disappointed to lose Cam as he had a very good tournament last season.

“He would have been key on our special teams but it is more important that he has a speedy and full recovery from his injury.

“We have moved quickly to replace Cam with Tom Relf from Bracknell Bees.

“I was able to watch Tom last weekend in the EPL game at Sheffield and we are happy to be able to add him to our group.

“He skates well and has played lots of minutes in the EPL recently, so Tom will fit straight in and be ready to play and I’m sure he will do a good job.

“I know he is excited to get this opportunity and it’s not long until the tournament, so everyone is looking forward to meeting up and heading to Romania.”

The GB youngsters travel to Brasov for their Division 2A World Championship tournament from 4th to 10th April 2016.

They will face hosts Romania, as well as Croatia, Lithuania, Netherlands and Poland.
