Great Britain Women and DPR Korea Women go head to head in Dumfries this evening with the silver medal at the World Championship Division II Group A on the line.

GB need a point this evening to clinch the silver medal.

Slovenia Women won the gold earlier this afternoon when they beat Mexico Women 7-1 to be promoted to Division I (Group B) for the first time in their history.

GB and DPR Korea have met five times since 2009 with GB winning two and DPR Korea taking the victory on three occasions.

The most recent encounter came at last year’s tournament in Maribor where goals from Leanne Ganney, Angela Taylor and Georgina Farman gave GB a 3-1 victory.

Britain took the silver in last year’s tournament while DPR Korea went home with the bronze
