Great Britain Under-18 Women were beaten 3-2 by Poland U18 Women in their second game at the four-team international tournament in Sosnowiec.

The GB coaching staff named Kiana Tait as captain, with Ellie Wakeling and Audrey Wood alternate captains, while Emma Nichols got the nod as starting netminder.

Emily Harris put GB ahead with a penalty shot but the hosts hit back to lead 3-2 in the third period.

Chloe Riley made it a one-goal game with 4’06 remaining but Poland hung on for the win.

Forward Grace Garbett was awarded JC’s hardest-working hat.

GB complete the tournament tomorrow with a game against Spain U18 Women at 12noon (11am UK time).
