Nottingham Panthers bowed out of the Champions Hockey League with a 3-0 home defeat by ZSC Lions in the second leg of their last-16 tie at the Motorpoint Arena.
It gave the side from Zurich in Switzerland a 6-1 victory on aggregate.
Their stunning journey in this season’s CHL saw them win Group F with four victories in six matches, including a 4-2 win over the tournament’s fourth seed Bern.
