Nathan Ormond has decided to step down from his role of Level 1 Officiating Manager due to work commitments.
Since the referee section became unified under IHUK, Nathan has worked incredibly hard in organising all of the Level 1 courses and providing season-long support to all Level 1 officials. He has also kept a watchful eye on their assignments and development over the course of the season.
We would like to thank Nathan for his hard work and commitment he has shown and wish him well for the future.
Nathan will still be leading the Level 1 sessions at the National Conference in Nottingham on the 11th & 12th of August, however we would like to have a new appointment in place before then. This will allow them to shadow Nathan and get to know all of the Level 1 officials at the conference.
The IHUK Referee Section have discussed the role of ‘Level 1 Officiating Manager’ and have completed a job redesign for the position. In doing so, we have created an additional two roles. ‘Level 1 Course Manager’ and ‘National Tournament Manager’.
We are pleased that we can announce Tom Stephenson as our new IHUK Level 1 Course Manager. Tom will be responsible for managing all Level 1 courses throughout the UK and providing course instruction.
Watch this space as we will soon be advertising for the position of ‘National Tournament Manager’.
At this moment in time we are advertising the ‘Level 1 Officiating Manager’ role as a replacement for the main bulk of Nathan’s role. Please see the attached advert, job description and the person specification documents for the position of ‘Level 1 Officiating Manager’.
