Great Britain forward Matthew Myers says no-one should underestimate Netherlands, despite contrasting starts to both sides World Championship Division 1 Group B in Belfast.

GB are level on nine points with Japan at the top of the group, while Netherlands are bottom and without a win so far this week.

The two sides meet in the SSE Arena this evening at 7:30pm.

“We have been so focused so far and we cannot let our momentum slip,” said Myers.

“We have got stronger as the tournament has gone on and I think our first period against Lithuania was fantastic.

“Netherlands are short on bodies but they are still a very good side.

“We have had close matches with them in the past and it is great to see them back in this division.

“But we know what we have to do and we won’t suddenly start taking teams lightly.

“We have come with a goal in mind and this group of players are so up for it.”
