Forward Matthew Myers says he is looking forward to pulling on a Great Britain shirt against Norway at Nottingham’s National Ice Centre next week.

The Cardiff-born 31-year-old only left the Panthers in the summer to sign back with his hometown club, but will make a return to Nottingham on Tuesday in GB colours.

GB and Norway go head-to-head in the NIC on Tuesday 1st November (7:30pm) and then again the following evening, Wednesday 2nd November at Ice Arena Wales (7:30pm).

“Every time I play for GB it is a great experience,” said Myers.

“I have done it many times now and been lucky enough to be in the system for 12 to 13 years.

“Meeting up with all the British players is always special and anytime you get to play in the NIC, it’s a great rink.

“I have such fond memories of playing there for the Panthers and GB.

“It will be a really good night and hopefully we can have a good night on the ice too.”

Tickets are still available for both matches.
