Great Britain head coach Pete Russell wants “more of the same” from his roster when they face Netherlands in the World Championship Division 1 Group B in Belfast this evening.

GB have a 100% record so far after wins over Croatia, Estonia and Lithuania.

It means they sit three points behind Japan, who beat Lithuania in today’s early game.

Netherlands come into the game on the back of three straight defeats, losing to Japan, Lithuania and Croatia.

“We done very well so far,” said Russell. “We have dominated at some points and been less good at other times.

“But the key is we are getting the job done and winning games. The attitude has been spot-on and I cannot fault the players.

“This group of players are so focused. We have a great attitude and a fantastic team spirit.

“I don’t want them to take Netherlands lightly and I know they won’t.

“We have an aim together as a group and they know what they have to do to achieve it.”

Face-off between GB and Netherlands tonight is 7:30pm.
