Ice Hockey UK are thrilled to announce that McDonald’s have renewed and expanded their sponsorship deal with the IHUK media team.

The tie-up with McDonald’s, through franchisee Jerry Nicholls and his restaurants in Nottingham, covers the sponsorship of IHUK’s media output, including IHUK TV, IHUK Radio and online.

The famous Golden Arches logo will also appear on the GB shirts for the five international warm-up games in the UK this season.

Jerry Nicholls said: “I’m really pleased to enter my fifth year working with GB, Ice Hockey UK and their media team.

“Over these years both teams have performed brilliantly and we have been happy to support them.

“Ice hockey is a great family sport and it fits perfectly with the McDonald’s brand. Nothing makes me more proud than playing a small part in helping my national team.”

Andy French, Ice Hockey UK general secretary, said: “It is fantastic news that we welcome Jerry and McDonald’s back on-board for another season.

“Their sponsorship enables the media team to travel to major tournaments to provide coverage of matches and behind the scenes features.

“As ever, we would like to thank Jerry and McDonald’s for their support.”
