The IIHF have hailed the 2017 Global Girls’ Game a massive success.

A total of 38 countries held one-hour games from the first puck in New Zealand to the final buzzer in Toronto, Canada.

Ice Hockey UK held an event in Ice Sheffield, which saw 39 young GB Women’s players aged between 11 and 18 take part.

Team White beat Team Blue 5-0 with 13-year-old Charlotte Harris scoring all five goals and her exploits have earned her a mention in the IIHF article.
